These items are what I’ve been grabbing out of my make-up bag the most recently. I’m loving the base Rimmel’s Lasting Finish foundation is giving me and if I’m running out of time, I skip bronzer, and go straight for a light layer of this Revlon blush. When I’ve got a bit more coverage on my face I love the Clinique lipstick in “Red-y-to wear” for a bit of colour.
MAC primer This bottle has lasted me ages. I bought it in Barcelona for quite a few bucks and I thought the lady was mad when she offered a hydrating serum when I said I had unbelievably oily skin but she was right! It’s a nice thin serum which really primes and works with your make-up throughout the day.
Revlon blush Unfortunately this colour is discontinued but I can describe it as a neutral mauve-pink a good shade for autumn skin. This needs building up so if I’m in a rush or want something really light for work it’s perfect; I don’t have to worry about using a light hand with this one.
Rimmel foundation I have extremely oily skin and after looking at other people’s reviews I thought I’d try this drugstore foundation and I was impressed! One of the few drugstore foundations I’ve actually re-purchased.
Maybelline cream eye shadow I absolutely love this shade “On and On Bronze” it’s such a great base for a more glittery eye shadow or good on it’s own, blended really well into the crease. Pretty much my go to for eyes right now.
Sephora concealer I was very surprised that Sephora’s own brand could deliver such good coverage in concealer; it ticks all the boxes for me. Unfortunately I can’t get it in the UK so I’ll be moving onto my Bare Minerals one which is very similar but more expensive.
Becca moonstone This was my first highlighter and as my skin is quite olive the yellow tones work a lot better than harsh white or pinky highlighters. I’ve tried a few new brands but Becca is King of highlight.
Clinique lipstick I first wore this lipstick with a cracking tan and a white dress, NYE 2012 in Sydney, and I love that memory. I’m so happy when I wear this and it has that slight blue tint so it helps whiten your teeth. A true, bright red.
Benefit roller lash This is a ride-or-die beauty product for me. I feel Benefit have got is so right with this mascara. As well as gorgeous packaging it gives equally long, curly and thick lashes.
ABH brow wiz I challenge anyone to find me a brow product THIS good. You may think I’m mad for paying £15.50 for a brown crayon but this does my brows like no other.
