I’ve rounded up a few bits that have made a noticeable difference to my make-up routine these last few months and as the weather gets warmer I need products that mattify me within an inch of my life. Read on to see what I’ve been loving!
TheBalm Cosmetics Mad Lash Mascara // £15.00
I can’t remember the last time I used only one mascara to get the look I wanted (let me know if you have found one!) so alongside my NYX Badunkadunk (who was in charge of product labelling, because they need a raise) I am loving TheBalm’s Mad Lash Mascara. It doesn’t transfer underneath my eyes at all and really thickens them up. It’s also a super skinny bottle so doesn’t take up make-up bag space.
EX1 Invisiwear Liquid Foundation // £12.50 for 30ml
I can’t believe I managed to find something better than my Milani foundation, but for 45p, less I did! EX1 aren’t a well known brand but have great reviews on-line, so I managed to order the correct colour and I’m so happy with the results. It keeps oil at bay with a medium-high coverage. I’m off to get a few more colours to match my skin throughout the year.
Nars Pore & Shine Control Primer // £27.00 for 30ml
I wish I never found this as it’s SO GOOD but bloody pricey. £27 is unreal for a primer and it ran out so quick. Anyway this seriously does what it says on the packaging. It reduces pore appearance and I didn’t need to blot my skin when using this in the morning and that is saying something. It has a chemical smell but I’m willing to ignore it just because the formula is so fantastic. If you want to treat yourself; buy this.
This brush came in a Look Fantastic beauty box, and even though these boxes can be hit and miss, they did a great job. The Lottie London crease brush was included and it’s now my go to for adding colour right in the middle of my eye. I can imagine it’s even better when creating a sharp cut crease however I’m not sure this is sold separately as I can’t find it anywhere online!
Print – Dot Creates // £3.50
Not make-up but I thought I’d add in this cute print. Dot Creates do such great prints, planners, notebooks etc and I added this to my stationery order. I have it propped up against my vanity and it’s sweet without being too soppy.
